We are pleased to share that Brittany Damora, formerly Director in Schillings’ Investigations, Security and Diplomacy team, has been promoted to Partner, effective 1 July. Brittany’s promotion brings Schillings’ total Partnership to 23.

An expert in international crisis response and conflict resolution, Britt has over twenty years’ experience in responding to high-stakes threats such as kidnap for ransom, extortion, illegal detentions and high-profile security issues.

She has an extensive track record at Schillings advising international families, companies and governments. Working closely with investigators, lawyers and communications specialists, Britt is highly adept at helping clients address threats and seize opportunities, whenever the stakes are high. She has a particular focus on commercial and political conflict resolution, leveraging her negotiation, diplomacy and problem-solving skills for clients in East and West Africa.

On Britt’s promotion, CEO David Imison said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Britt as a Partner, and to recognise the contribution she has made in advancing Schillings’ private diplomacy capability – particularly with clients operating in East and West Africa. I know that Britt’s depth of expertise and specialist experience will be a real asset to the Partnership.”

Following her promotion, Britt joins the Investigations, Security and Diplomacy leadership team alongside Partners Juliet Young, Lily Kennett and Adam Wilkinson.
