Phoebe joins Schillings from Burford Capital’s Asset Recovery team where she specialised in complex international investigations – particularly around the enforcement of high-value awards against sovereign states. Prior to this Phoebe worked at Goldman Sachs in the Office of Global Security, focused on identifying threats to the business. A Law graduate with a BA in Russian and an MA in International Security and Terrorism, Phoebe has also held intelligence roles at risk advisory firms KCS Group and AKE. Phoebe has been the Membership Secretary of the Female Fraud Forum since February 2020. The FFF is a multi-disciplinary association aimed at lawyers, investigators and forensic accountants. The community’s purpose is to promote and encourage the advancement of women of all levels of expertise, through shared ideas, knowledge and experiences. The FFF runs both legal and personal development focused educational events and innovative networking and social events. Phoebe was selected in Management Today’s 35 Women under 35 2021, not just for her professional capabilities in worldwide asset tracing, and litigation support, but for her passion to assist others in reaching their potential, driving the development of confidence, curiosity and kindness as well as championing women’s accomplishments in the workplace.
