Victoria Anderson shortlisted for Diversity Champion of the Year at the Burberry British Diversity Awards

Victoria Anderson, Senior Associate in Legal at Schillings – and CEO of social mobility charity Big Voice London (BVL) – has been shortlisted at the 2023 Burberry British Diversity Awards.

Now in its second year, the Burberry British Diversity Awards showcase the best business leaders, companies, charities and inspirational individuals championing diversity across the UK. In addition to Victoria being nominated individually for the prestigious Diversity Champion of the Year award, on an organisation level, BVL has also been shortlisted, earning a place in the ‘Social Mobility Initiative of the Year’ category.

Operating across England and Wales, social mobility charity BVL works to improve access to the legal profession. Throughout the year, BVL run a programme of free workshops, mentoring schemes, insight programmes, competitions and projects to inspire young people from non-fee-paying schools to pursue legal careers. Through their work, BVL’s mission is to improve diversity across the legal profession.

As CEO of BVL, Victoria sets the strategic direction of the organisation, a role she performs alongside her work as a Senior Associate at Schillings. Passionate about social mobility, diversity and inclusion, Victoria is also a key member of Schillings’ EDI Taskforce, leading on the accessibility front. Her recognition in this year’s Burberry British Diversity Awards is testament to her commitment in this space.

The Burberry British Diversity Awards ceremony takes place on 22 March. The shortlist is available to view here.
