Schillings Pro Bono update with out ongoing work for Lilongwe Wildlife Trust

As part of our Schillings pro bono programme, we are excited to update you with our ongoing work for Lilongwe Wildlife Trust (‘LWT’), a charity that opened its doors as Malawi’s first wildlife sanctuary in 2009 and has since grown to become one of the country’s leading conservation NGOs. LWT instructed Schillings’ Cyber Team to assist in a cyber investigation. Sachin Bhatt led the investigation which uncovered malicious activity and provided LWT with practical security advice to help bolster their cyber security posture.

We are delighted to have received this feedback from Tom Mixer, Director of Operations at LWT for our assistance. “A big thank you to Schillings for assisting us with our cyber security throughout the organisation, making sure that our systems remain protected and functioning. This, of course, has been incredibly important as more and more of our staff are working remotely during these socially distanced times.”

We look forward to continuing our partnership with LWT though our pro bono work giving back to society.

About Schillings Pro Bono

Our pro bono helps us put something back into society. We all have a right to privacy – it’s a universal human right enshrined in law. Schillings’ work often benefits the public good – and we also believe justice should not be rationed by ability to pay. We take on pro bono work where we feel we can make an impact on the rights of vulnerable people.
