Michael Mpofu

Michael is a strategic communications adviser with deep expertise in financial services and political communications. He has advised clients across multiple jurisdictions on high stakes matters including transactions, crisis response, media engagement, and reputation management.

Michael has worked internationally, including in South Africa and the UK, supporting senior leaders and institutions through complex and sensitive communications challenges. His experience spans listed companies, as well as hedge funds, private equity firms, high-net-worth individuals, and cross-border mandates.

Before moving into advisory, Michael served as the spokesperson for the Premier of the Western Cape Government and was previously a political journalist based in South Africa’s Parliament.
