Share on LinkedInJenny Afia, Partner at Schillings, has won Spear's Wealth Management award for Lawyer of the Year in Defamation and Reputation.
One of five lawyers to be shortlisted, last night's win follows a hugely successful year for Jenny. From multiple jurisdiction cases centred around a sophisticated dirty tricks campaign to a recent revenge porn ruling, Jenny also led the Schillings legal team that researched and compiled iRights – the legal framework; a detailed review of existing legislation to identify the opportunities and gaps in law related to implementing the iRights framework.
In recognition of her work in championing the rights of children and young people in today's digital world, Jenny was recently invited to become a member of the Children Commissioner's Task Force on Children and the Internet.
