Schillings’ dedicated Crisis Management Task Force today pivots to help clients deal with specific COVID-19 related issues and crises over the coming weeks and months.
Commenting on the decision to refocus the task force, Tim Robinson said: “There are some practical adjustments to the ways all of us work. Many will be temporary; some might be profound. But throughout and beyond this crisis there will be successful businesses to run. It is our job to help you protect those businesses and keep them resilient for the future.”
Amy Pope, who led the response to the Ebola and Zika pandemics for President Obama, said: “Coronavirus threatens businesses and economies as well as public health. Business as usual is not an option. Reality, expectation and perception have rapidly created immediate and long-term commercial risks that are unprecedented in modern times. It is critically important for business leadership to be alert to what is unfolding, but also be calm, measured and clear-eyed.”
Schillings’ task force is helping businesses manage rapidly evolving reputational, privacy and security risks. It is staffed by ex-government crisis managers, intelligence officers, cyber security experts, lawyers, and security planners.
