Partner Peter Yapp, who spearheads the firm’s Cyber and Information Security practice, has won the award for Outstanding Cyber Security Consultant of the Year at the 2021 inaugural Cyber OSPAs (Outstanding Security Performance Awards) ceremony.
The Cyber OSPAs aim to ‘recognise and highlight outstanding performance by companies, people, products and initiatives across the cyber security sector globally’, with an added feature of being ethical and independent.
Described by Schillings’ CEO as an ‘Avenger-like superhero’, Peter has transformed the practice since joining in 2019 from a small team of incident responders into a full-service cyber security consultancy, and now leads our multidisciplinary teams of digital forensics specialists, data protection lawyers, and bug sweepers. The firm’s cyber clients now include some of the biggest names in business, entertainment and government.
